Sara Valera began her dance training at the age of 6 at Dance Creations Dance Academy. She also competed in countless competitions nationwide such as "Star Power", "Star Quest" and many more. She recently graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Ashford University. In 2006 she attended Mater Lakes Academy, where she took a drama class with Mrs. De Francisco. 

They have built a bond and relationship that lead to the beginning of BBharts in 2012. Since then she has directed and produced countless films, choreographies and classes for BBharts. She is also the Hip Hop and Lyrical Instructor, as well as Film Production Manager and Backstage Manager. 

Her passion for children and a commitment to the arts. She fervently believes in the mission and continues to be a propelling force behind every project year after year.

Miss Abigail has been dancing since she was three years-old and has been with BBharts since it started. She has attended various dance studios and trains in many dance styles including ballet, pointe, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, flamenco, ballroom, and hip hop. She has taken class with famous dancers and choreographers like Travis Wall, Francisco Gella, and Tokyo the Company. She has attended various competitions and conventions, like Shake the Ground and Intrigue; where she has placed 1st in ballroom, flamenco, and contemporary. She has also danced for Disney World in Dance the Magic parade and cruise. She is currently continuing her studies at the New World School of the Arts pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance. Abigail was awarded a scholarship to attend an intensive with Travis Wall in Los Angeles, California!

Miss Sayra trained in Gravity Gymnastics for acrobatics and dance in Dance Creations Dance Academy as well as BBharts and has been dancing since she was three years old. Miss Sayra attends New World School of the Arts College in the Musical Theatre Division. Sayra was awarded a scholarship for this summer to attend a two-week flamenco intensive in Jacobs Pillow a school for the Performing Arts in Massachusetts. Her ability for teaching is palpable as she makes every experience fun and enjoyable for kids.

Miss Macey was born in Jacksonville Florida where she began her training at the age of three. Once she was accepted to Douglas Anderson School of the Arts at the age of fifteen, her dance career began. Macey has had the opportunity to train closely with top dance artists such as Alonzo King, Jennifer Archibald, Maurya Kerr, Jon Ole Olstad, and Doug Gillespie. As well as attended intensives such as ArchCore40, The Rockette Summer Intensive, and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago. Macey has performed with the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra’s productions of ballets such as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella as well as aired on TV to promote local dance performances for the Florida Dance Festival, and a benefit concert for the Jones’. In August 2017, Macey moved to Miami to continue studying her art at New World School of the Arts where she plans to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in dance.

Miss Noemi has been dancing since she was three years-old and has attended many dance schools including Ballet Etudes and Dance Town. She has also attended master classes in Millennium and is a student in the BBharts academy level 4. She loves working alongside her family and learning daily on how to improve and become a better teacher. She has a passion for teaching her students and seeing them grow every class.

Tenor Carlos Silva was born in Valera, State of Trujillo, Venezuela. Studied Voice in Caracas and the Vienna Conservatory of Music. Silva has obtained several awards for best interpretation of operatic arias and German Lieder, including the first prize in the "Alfredo Hollander" Voice Competition in 1996. He appeared as "Anführer der Leibgarde" in the production of Schubert's opera "Alfonzo und Estrella", conducted by Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the "Vienna Festival" in 1997, sharing the stage with Thomas Hampson. Silva performed several opera roles, as "Tamino" in Mozart's "The Magic Flute" in Caracas in the Teresa Carreño Theater with the "Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra"; also “Alfredo” in Verdi’s “La Traviata”, in Greece and Madrid; “Don Jose” (Carmen) in Madrid and Ibiza; “Manrico (Il trovatore), “Pollione” (Norma). Turiddu (Cavaleria Rusticana), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) and “Riccardo” (Ballo in maschera) in Madrid. And Portugal  He also participated as soloist in diverse symphonic concerts with well-known world orchestras as Galicia Symphony Orchestra, National Orchestra of Spain, Symphony Orchestra of Córdoba, Orchestra, Community of Madrid Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of Tenerife and Philharmonic of Malaysya  He has created some successful plays for the Miani Dade County Auditorium and Arca Images: “Un Viaje de Navidad”, “El Maestro de Mùsica”, “Venezuela arte y parte”,  y “Zarzuela de dos orillas”.

Mr. De Francisco started his training in Venezuela with 7 years of classical guitar practice. He then started teaching music as the band director in Mater Lakes Academy. In 1998 he met and eventually married Miriam De Francisco and together they built a network marketing company, which gave way to the possibility for BBharts.

Born in Colombia and raised in the United States, Melissa Castro fell in love with dance at an early age. She began her training at Show Stopper Studio where she trained in hip-hop, heels, jazz funk and ballet. She graduated with an Associates in Dance as an honors student from Miami Dade College where she focused on the foundations of modern and ballet dance, following with a bachelor’s in arts from the Florida International University. Melissa has performed Award Shows such as Premios Juventud/Premio Lo Nuestro and has worked on many Television programs with Univision, Telemundo and Nickelodeon. She also had the opportunity to work under great artists such as Daddy Yankee, Marc Anthony, Becky G, Gente de Zona, Tito el Bambino and Farruko among others. Melissa was a part of the Farruko tour team back in 2015 where she had the opportunity to travel around the United States as well as to perform in Madison Square Garden. She has taught hip-hop, jazz funk and heels since 2014 in studios such as Show Stopper Studio, Evolution Dance, Diamonds Dance Studio, Millenium Dance Academy, Tame Dance Academy, BB Hart’s and now a part of the Mater Lakes Academy staff as the dance teacher and coach. She continues to strive for greatness and to be able to share her passion and talents with our younger generations in hopes to pass down her knowledge.
